When Snowy, a white elephant, is stolen from Noah Marshall's zoo, Cathy joins the staff as a big-game hunter. Noah tells her that Snowy was found by one of his hunters, Conniston, in the Burmese jungle. He brought the elephant home and Noah has kept it as a pet ever since. Cathy discuses Snowy's disappearance with her keeper, george. he is convinced that the elephant is dead since only one man could have taken her from the zoo alive, Lawrence, who owned the Burmese camp where Snowy was found. But George tells Cathy that Lawrence was killed in the jungle.
